Draft v2026-08-27

Marketplace Terms

Pre-launch legal draft — not approved for public transactions. These terms require review by qualified counsel before payments or selling are enabled.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18, provide accurate information, protect your credentials, use mandatory two-factor authentication, and promptly report compromise. We may verify identity, seller, tax, bank, and contact information when required by law, payment partners, risk controls, or transaction volume. Do not upload Social Security cards. Verification documents must be handled by an approved identity provider, not ordinary platform storage.

Platform role

Collector's Card Vault provides catalog, collection, communication, listing, and marketplace tools. Buyers and sellers—not the Vault—form the sale contract. Sellers alone are responsible for lawful ownership, authenticity, description, condition, photographs, packaging, shipment, taxes, and fulfillment. Catalog images, reference prices, scans, AI suggestions, and third-party data are informational and are not appraisals, guarantees, endorsements, or representations of an item's condition or value.

Listings, images, and intellectual property

Sellers must upload clear photographs of the actual item, including required front, back, sleeved, unsleeved, seal, and packaging views. Users retain ownership of their content and grant the Vault a limited license to host, resize, moderate, and display it to operate the service. Game names, card art, rules, trademarks, and product imagery belong to their respective owners. The Vault claims no affiliation unless expressly stated. Users may not upload counterfeit, infringing, stolen, dangerous, manipulated, or misleading material.

Orders, fees, shipping, and disputes

All fees and total charges must be shown before purchase. Sellers must use supported trackable shipping, enter the carrier and tracking number, follow the published protection instructions, and preserve evidence. A buyer should report an apparent delivery, condition, authenticity, resealing, or fraud issue promptly through the case system; the current operational target is within 72 hours of confirmed delivery, but that target does not shorten any nonwaivable legal, payment-network, latent-defect, or fraud right. Case-authorized inspections may be sent by trackable USPS mail to PO Box 5187, Princeton, WV 24740. Do not mail an item without a case authorization number.

Seller nonfulfillment. If an item is damaged before shipment, is no longer available, or otherwise cannot be shipped as promised, the seller must promptly cancel before marking it shipped and select an accurate reason. The buyer will receive a prompt full refund of the item price, original shipping charge, and applicable taxes. The Vault will not deduct a seller cancellation charge from the buyer's refund. A $1.00 nonfulfillment fee may be charged to the seller, subject to applicable law, payment-provider rules, disclosed fee terms, and any staff waiver. Repeated or misleading cancellations may affect seller standing or trigger review.

The platform may temporarily restrict listings or payouts while reviewing credible risk, preserve evidence, request information, refund or return an item where authorized, or suspend an account. An allegation alone does not establish wrongdoing. Parties receive notice and an opportunity to provide evidence when practicable. Platform case decisions govern only the internal remedy and do not eliminate rights that cannot legally be waived.

Prohibited conduct

No counterfeit or resealed goods, shill transactions, price manipulation, harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content, evasion, scraping, malware, impersonation, unlawful gambling, infringement, off-platform fee evasion, or misuse of personal data. Bios, leagues, and community content must remain PG.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service and reference data are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, buyer or seller identity, card grade, authenticity, delivery, merchantability, fitness, or price accuracy. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. Any final limitation-of-liability amount, indemnity, warranty disclaimer, governing law, venue, and survival language must be set by counsel before launch.

Dispute resolution and arbitration notice

The intended final agreement may require individual arbitration after informal notice, include a reasonable opt-out period, and waive class proceedings where enforceable. It must preserve small-claims access and all nonwaivable statutory, injunctive, public, payment-network, and agency rights. No arbitration provision will be activated until counsel selects the administrator, rules, fees, governing law, opt-out method, accessibility provisions, and jurisdiction-specific carveouts.

Changes and contact

Material changes require notice and, when legally required, renewed acceptance. Support: customerservice@collectorscardvault.com. Copyright notices require a separately registered DMCA agent and published notice process before launch.
