Privacy Notice
Pre-launch privacy draft — counsel and vendor review required.
Data we handle
Account and age-eligibility data; email and optional phone; authentication, recovery, device, IP, security, and audit records; profile, bio, avatar, friends, leagues, messages, and game trackers; collection, scans, listing photographs, catalog matches, orders, shipping, tracking, support, dispute evidence, and storage usage. Payment, bank, tax, and identity-verification data should be collected by approved processors; the Vault should retain only status, identifiers, and legally necessary records.
Why we use it
To provide and secure accounts, verify age and sellers, operate catalog and marketplace features, prevent fraud, process transactions through vendors, communicate service messages, investigate disputes, comply with law, enforce terms, and improve reliability. Marketing communications require the choices and consent applicable to the recipient.
Sharing
Data may be shared with the transaction parties as needed, contracted hosting, email, SMS, identity, payment, analytics, fraud, shipping, and support providers; professional advisers; and authorities or others when lawfully required or necessary to protect rights and safety. We do not authorize vendors to use service data for their own unrelated purposes. A final notice must name material vendors and explain any sale, sharing, targeted-advertising, or cross-border processing before launch.
Retention and security
Retention depends on account status, transaction, dispute, tax, fraud, security, and legal needs. Expired uploads and unnecessary verification data should be deleted under a documented schedule. Controls include encryption in transit, restricted access, mandatory 2FA, hashed passwords and sessions, audit logs, backups, incident response, and vendor review. No system is guaranteed secure.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, export, or appeal by contacting customerservice@collectorscardvault.com. Rights and exceptions vary by location; identity must be verified before a request is fulfilled. Account deletion may not remove records that must be retained for transactions, fraud prevention, legal claims, or law. Browser and mobile permissions for camera, photos, and notifications can be changed in device settings.
Age and contact
The service is limited to adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. Contact customerservice@collectorscardvault.com or PO Box 5187, Princeton, WV 24740. A final notice must identify the legal entity and privacy contact before public launch.
